As part of the research projects, the activities carried out by the research teams have resulted in the mechanisation of several post-harvest operations :

• Threshing: modification and adaptation of IRRI-type rice thresher
• Cleaning: design of rotating sieves and winnowing channel
• Hulling/whitening: design and local manufacture of a "GMBF" fonio huller
  (GMBF means : Guinea, Mali, Burkina, France)
